STONINGTON ARMS

This elderly housing complex in eastern Connecticut was looking to have all eight buildings powered by generators in the event of an outage.  Tower Generator designed this project by utilizing three 100kw units to power two buildings each and two 60kw units to provide power to the remaining two buildings.  Each building received an individual transfer switch and since natural gas was already onsite the fuel source was an easy implementation. Tower did all the excavation and poured the pads for the five generators. Ironically, the generators were put to use during a storm that hit about a week after the generators were started up.

Stonington, Connecticut

What:

Three Cummins 100kw generators and two Cummins 60kws. A total of eight ASCO 300 transfer switches were utilized as well.
