Celebrating 20 Years

Tower Generator, experts in the sale, installation and service of propane, natural gas and diesel generators, celebrates its 20th anniversary as a successful Connecticut business. The company works with home and business owners to help them prepare for emergencies by providing reliable back-up power systems. In 1997 Tower Generator installed its first residential generator in the state of Connecticut and today they have thousands of customers throughout the area.

As a locally owned business, Tower Generator has invested in the local and state-wide economy over the last 20 years, creating many skilled jobs and maintaining a 6300 square-foot headquarters and equipment fleet. The company also actively supports local sports teams and other non-profit organizations including the global emergency response and health organization, AmeriCares, which is also a client.

“Our team has worked tirelessly for the past 20 years to be the best in our business,” said Chris Atiyeh, president of Tower Generator. “We know our work is vital to our customers who turn to us for reliable power when emergencies strike, and we do everything to meet those expectations. We always start by listening to each client’s need and helping them understand their options. The education that we provide enables customers to make the best decisions. By taking these extra steps, we have built a strong level of trust with our customers and that, to us, is the most important thing we do.”

After an initial analysis and a site survey, Tower Generator engineers the most reliable backup power system. The company then completes the entire installation — from the site work, and setting the generator to electrical installations, to gas plumbing and finally commissioning the system with a factory authorized start up. The company also performs Factory authorized maintenance and service to ensure systems are truly ready for any emergency.

The company will celebrate its official anniversary with a company barbeque on select Fridays throughout the summer.
