Western CT Water Booster Stations Phase II
The Challenge
To enable the people that are served by these pump stations to be able to have water even when the power fails.
The Solution
The second phase of the Western Connecticut well pump project consisted of three liquid-cooled generators with propane tanks. In the first phase, Tower Generator utilized air-cooled generators as they had smaller pumps, but these new stations have larger pump demands that will require more power. The sizes range from 22 kW to 40 kW depending on the demand. Tower Generator has done many well projects over the last few years and there is a great importance to these projects. Homes and businesses served by the sites can rest easier when the power goes out.
