The Challenge
This town-owned facility is used for various events throughout the year. They needed to replace the original generator that had become unreliable due to its age. The goal of this project was for Tower Generator to install a generator that would provide basic safety to the occupants of the building in the event of a power outage.
The Solution
Tower Generator installed a 22 kW liquid-cooled generator and a new 104 amp automatic transfer switch. The generator will run on propane supplied by the existing tanks. Bollards were installed in order to protect the new generator from exposure to parking lot traffic. The future events can proceed with a backup power system that will make things safer in the event of an outage.
