The Challenge
This Connecticut city of approximately 90,000 people had nine sewage pump stations that needed to be updated with new standby generators. This was to keep the pump stations up and running during power outages so that the residents can maintain basic living comforts. Tower Generator was entrusted with this crucial project.
The Solution
The pumps varied in size so the generator requirements were different at each station. This project required propane and diesel-fueled generators as the fuel source varied based on the location. A few of the stations required mobile generators for added flexibility. Our work has been completed and all nine stations are capable of running at 100% capacity during future outages.
